As such, it contains elements that encourage play, development, motor skills development and diverse sensory stimulation.

Roof: The roof is accessible and public. The circulation on the roof creates a circular and endless movement which suits for kids.

Multipurpose hall: Multipurpose hall is divided by dynamic walls that can create different spaces in different sizes for different uses. The walls scroll on a track into an alcove in the wall. The floor of the hall is covered by mattresses that can pull out and pile up and so it can be used for different purposes.

Waiting area: The waiting area is characterized by seats in multi-age heights. Mattresses can be stacked on the seats and thus their height varies. Under the seats is the storage of “The Camel” and between are the strollers.

Amphitheater: Slope in the roof allows to produce seating, amphitheater.

Development space: Development space for multi-age play and developmental testing through play. In the ceiling Sky Lite that lets in natural light.

Subplaces: The topography of the lot allows, with the help of excavation in the ground, a demarcated area, which is used to bring light into the building of the public café. But also serves as a protected area, replacing a fence for children to stay.

Sand: Sand appears in the project as a key material. It characterizes the geographical area, it is a natural material, playful and beautiful. Combined with a pool of water it can be turned into another material.

Subplaces: Informal places for play, hiding, and privacy for children only.

Slide: A slide is connected to the highest area on the roof of the building, descends on the inner courtyard into sand hills and creates the circular movement in the project.

Railings: Railings are perforated in a way that allows a view to the outside or safe sitting on the edge of the building.
